<p>Truck Scale Calculator is a utilitarian application devised to support truck drivers in evaluating the distribution of weight on their axles. This resource caters to two main configurations: 1) three-axle setups, encompassing steers, drives, and tandems; or 2) four-axle arrangements, comprising steers, drives, and distinct spread axles. The app is engineered to accommodate scale measurements from both short and long-scale platforms. In the case of long scales, it can compute the sequence of "scaling on" or "scaling off," indicating whether the gross weight is measured first or last.</p>
<p>Upon inputting scale values, the application processes the weights on each axle set and presents a summary on-screen. Any weights surpassing predefined thresholds (adjustable through settings) are highlighted in red. Users have the ability to fine-tune the fifth wheel forwards or backwards, prompting automatic adjustments to the steer axle and drive axle weights by a pre-set amount that can be user-defined. Similarly, for tandem truck configurations, adjustments to the tandem slide can be made towards the front or rear.</p>
